Jonathan Priddey
Chairman and Director of Technology
Jonathan Priddey is the Chairman and Director of Technology for Elixir Technology
Pte Ltd. His vast knowledge and practical experiences in object-orientation
made him a much sought-after trainer and consultant for object-oriented
development projects ranging from large-scale commercial applications to
highly technical, advanced software research and development projects.
Jonathan has taught a large pool of managers, project leaders
and programmers in object-oriented analysis and design methodology and
object-oriented programming in Java, C++ and Smalltalk. In Singapore
alone, the number of software manager and professionals taught by Jonathan
exceeds 1,600, coming from various progressive organisations from all
sectors of the industry. These companies include government organisations
such as the Defense Science and Technology Agency, Infocomm Development
Authority and PSA Corporation Limited; commercial organisations such
as
DBSBank, Motorola Electronics Pte Ltd, Singapore Institutions of Manufacturing
Technology (SIMTech) and Crimson Logic Pte Ltd; as well as R&D and
tertiary institutions such as the Institute for Infocomm Research, the
Ngee Ann Polytechnic, and the Temasek Polytechnic.
Jonathan is a frequent speaker at both local and international
seminars and conferences such as OOPSLA, Comdex, and at various corporate
in-house technology seminars. As a consultant, Jonathan is a well-known
authority on Object-Oriented Technology, from incorporating object-oriented
methodology into corporate system development life cycle to conducting
code walk-through to ensure correctness and efficiency of code.

As a proponent of software engineering practices, Jonathan is
the author of the Elixir's LORE Object-Oriented
Method, a pioneering methodology that complements the UML techniques
and notations with a customizable and pragmatic process for object-oriented
system development. Jonathan is also the chief architect behind for
several Elixir products including Elixir CASE and Elixir IDE, and most
recently the new generation of Elixir Report.
